Introducing Herbert, a lovely mid-century display cabinet and bureau refinished in Farrow and Ball’s Oval Room Blue and Downpipe. Farrow and Ball’s Oval Room blue gives this unusual piece a fresh and modern feel with the contrast of Downpipe (a deep, blue grey) providing a graphic, contemporary edge. The original handles and legs have been left in the original teak to add warmth to the fresh colour palette.
There is plenty of useful storage within this piece to house everything that doesn’t have a home! A great piece for open plan living where everything needs a home.

Dapper Downpipe .
This vintage, solid desk has been re-finished in Farrow and Ball’s Downpipe Estate Eggshell - a handsome and commanding deep grey with blue undertones.
This versatile piece of furniture is a fantastic size for any space and unlike many other desks is not too deep which enables it to sit comfortably in any living space. There is plenty of storage with 2 wide drawers over 4 deeper drawers, all with dovetail joints.
New cup handles in a burnished brass finish have been added to give this piece a lovely modern country feel.

This is an unusual mid century chest of drawers from G-Plan. The top drawer pulls out and folds down to become a desk/bureau; ideal for small spaces or rooms.
This beautiful chest of drawers have been given a modern makeover with the carcass and bottom 2 drawers painted in Farrow and Ball Stiffkey Blue - ahandsome deep blue which works beautifully to compliment the teak.
The areas of original teak have been treated with a high quality teak oil to restore the lovely grain of this wood.
The chest of drawers sit on splayed legs for that typical mid century styling and the bentwood handles on the drawer fronts are a real feature.
The insides of the drawers have been left unpainted to ensure that they open and close easily.
This is a vintage item and is in good condition, however the inside of the bureau does show some signs of wear but again has been treated to restore as much as possible.

This stylish mid century chest of drawers has been hand-painted in one of the trending colours of this season. Farrow and Ball’s Setting Plaster is a soft nude that works with so many colour schemes, particularly greys, blues, whites and pastels.
The drawers sit on contemporary splayed legs which have been painted in Farrow and Ball’s Downpipe to contrast against the coloured carcass.
The finial finish of these slimline copper handles adds a metallic blush to the piece to create a unique and individual piece of furniture.
A Mid-Century bench which is great for a hallway or entryway. It has been updated for a contemporary interior using Farrow and Ball Railings, a soft blue black that contrasts well with the original teak.
The base, frame and drawers have all been hand-painted in Railings and the original teak has been oiled with a high quality teak oil.
The original black leatherette cushion provides a comfortable place to perch and the storage drawer is ideal for keeping keys, sunglasses and other items neatly out of sight. (seat pad is included. Other cushion is prop only).
This rare, vintage mid century modern cabinet with ‘accordion’ folding doors has been re-designed and re-purposed for a modern interior.

This vintage cabinet has been sanded back to the original solid wood and then primed with a Farrow and Ball dark tones primer and undercoat. It has then been refinished in Farrow and Ball’s Stiffkey Blue, a deep blue with a smart, sophisticated feel. This colour is a perfect compliments to off-whites and blue, grey colour palettes.
Baxter features 2 opening doors with Georgian style leaded glass opening to a display/curio cabinet with two shelves that can be adjusted to varying heights. Introducing ‘Foster’ a mid century bookcase and cabinet, re-finished for a modern interior.
Foster is a lovely example of a mid century bookcase and cabinet that sits on splayed atomic legs. It has been re-designed and re-finished using Farrow and Ball Manor House Grey, a true architectural grey. The legs, front facing edges and interior of the base cabinet have been finished in Farrow and Ball Downpipe to add contrast and depth. The original handles have been replaced with a stylish walnut handle with a retro feel.
Cool & Contemporary Country
Introducing Shelby, a solid oak vintage dresser painted in Farrow and Ball Estate Eggshell, Downpipe. This contemporary deep grey has wonderful blue undertones which work well with any cool grey or blue palette. The solid brass handles work beautifully against the depth of this colour.
This dresser was selected for its elegant style and detail. The soft curves of the legs and the outline of the dresser top are one of the many lovely features of this unique piece, along with the carved detail in the pelmet and the doors. The original brass hardware provides a contrast to the deep bluey grey and both doors feature original working locks.

Introducing Morris, a mid century bureau for a modern interior.
The bureau has been re-finished to enhance the simple, minimalist style typical of mid century furniture, whilst modernising the look with the use of colour and adding a whiskey tan leather loop handle to finish.
The bureau has been painted in Farrow and Ball Inchyra Blue, a new colour for 2016. This deep colour can be read as blue, grey or sometimes green and makes a nice alternative to charcoal. Pair with architectural neutrals and bright teals.
